Edgerton Veterinary Clinic and Lakeland Veterinary Care is a well-established locally owned, two-clinic practice offering full-service and comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. Clients are also able to take advantage of alternative therapies we provide including acupuncture, chiropractic care, and therapeutic lasering. We are able to provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. Services are also available for veterinarians in the surrounding communities when advanced surgeries, treatments, or diagnostic procedures are required.

Certified Veterinary Technician

Edgerton Veterinary Clinic & Lakeland Veterinary Care are small animal practices just south of Madison, WI, and we are looking for a (part time or full time) certified veterinary technician to join our well established, multi-doctor animal hospital. Our ideal candidate is a motivated team player that is professional, positive, articulate, and detail-oriented. Client education and communication are a sizable portion of the position, but all our technicians perform duties they learned in school including history taking, anesthesia monitoring and maintaining anesthetized patients, dental cleanings, preparing and running lab samples, restraint, phlebotomy, nursing care on sick and surgical patients, and record keeping. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, surgical assistance, pharmacy duties, radiology, and assisting with appointments.

Groomer

We are looking for an experienced pet groomer to join our team at both our Edgerton and Stoughton locations. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional grooming services to both dogs and cats, including bathing, brushing, trimming, de-matting, styling, nail trims, and anal gland expression. The ideal candidate will have a passion for animals and a commitment to providing the highest quality of care and customer support. This position entails a large amount of individual work, as well as teamwork with other veterinary staff. We are looking for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and hard working. We are open to flexible hours with the potential for a full-time position for the right candidate.

Benefits vary by hours worked, but may include staff pet discounts, retirement contribution matching, health insurance, and paid time off.
